🌿 Vision of the Department

To develop clinically competent Ayurvedic physicians with strong diagnostic acumen by imparting in-depth knowledge of disease causation (Nidana), pathogenesis (Samprapti), and manifestation (Lakshana) through classical Ayurvedic principles and modern diagnostic correlation.

🌿 Mission of the Department

1 To teach Roga Nidana in accordance with Charaka, Sushruta, and Madhava Nidana.

2 To train students in systematic disease diagnosis using Nidana Panchaka.

3 To correlate Ayurvedic pathology with modern diagnostic concepts.

4 To develop clinical decision-making skills through case-based learning.

5 To promote research in Ayurvedic diagnostics and disease prevention.

🌿 Objectives of the Department

After completing the course, the student will be able to:

  1. Explain etiological factors (Nidana) of diseases.
  2. Describe Samprapti (pathogenesis) of major disorders.
  3. Identify Purvarupa, Rupa, Upashaya & Anupashaya.
  4. Apply Nidana Panchaka in clinical case analysis.
  5. Differentiate diseases using Ayurvedic differential diagnosis.
  6. Correlate Ayurvedic concepts with modern pathology.
  7. Perform basic clinical examination relevant to diagnosis.
