B.A.M.S. Ayurveda Acharya

To be eligible for BAMS admission in Karnataka for a particular academic year (It shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of marks at 50 percent in NEET, for the said academic year. However in respect of candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward castes, the minimum marks shall be at 45 percent. The percentile shall be determined on the basis of highest marks secured in the all India common merit list in NEET).

In addition to NEET qualifications candidates who have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination and have secured minimum 50% marks in Chemistry, Physics, Biology and 50 % marks in Biology separately are eligible.

Seats

The number of seats available for BAMS are 75 students per year.

Eligibility For Admission

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Karnataka or the examination recognized equivalent thereto with 50% marks in Biology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible.

Age

The applicant should have completed an age of 17 years on the date of admission.
